Tieback Walls

Tieback walls are retaining structures for temporary or permanent works; they are usually combined with other techniques such as installing anchors to counteract earth pressure and stabilize earth cuts. They are executed from the surface, allowing, as excavation progresses, for the total excavation inside the work for the planned number of basements, without danger to the work or nearby structures. They are constructed in terrain without a water table (in dry conditions).
